The demon Ning Buwei was haughty and arrogant. With the Suzaku Sword drinking blood in the seventeen states. Everyone in the cultivation world was extremely terrified.

The Chongzheng Alliance of 120 sects lay a siege, but rather than being defeated, he fell into the Endless River and disappeared.

He woke up by the river, his Suzaku Sword shattered, his cultivation lost, and had an infant in his arms that was crying in hunger.

Ning Buwei was born heartless and having no care of the world, he was about to throw it backhandedly, only to find out that this child was connected to his own blood and was truly his own son.

The expression on the face of the great demon cracked.

After narrowly escaping death, the once formidable demon was busy restoring his cultivation, repairing his precious sword, and…anxiously raising his son.

His son was born with a golden core, but why should he cry or pee, and when he gets angry, a small foot can push his father, who has lost all his cultivation, three zhang away.

The demon has had enough of the hard days of feeding rice paste and changing diapers every day all his life. By chance, he saw the mother’s figure in his son’s sea of consciousness – with a long, slim and graceful body as beautiful as a celestial being. Ning Buwei was sure that she must be very good at changing diapers.

Then Ning Buwei, with a changed appearance, carried his son who was wetting the bed every day, entered the sect where the child’s mother was, and sent the child a thousand miles away.

The taoist number one Wu Shi Sect’s Grand Master Uncle, Chu Jun, was in seclusion for five hundred years. As soon as he left, he was blocked at the entrance of the cave.

Ning Buwei held his son and looked at the cold beauty in front of him who had no cultivation except for his beauty, his expression cracked once again.

The child’s mother is a man.

And it seems he doesn’t know how to change diapers at all. (Priority)

Chu Jun looked at the young disciple in front of him, who had low cultivation, orphaned and helpless. Before he could speak, he was stuffed with a fat child in his arms.

“Your son, “Chu Jun said his first sentence in five hundred years.

“No, it’s your son, ” Ning Buwei was resolute in answering.

Later on.

Ning Buwei: This child’s father has nothing but beauty.

Chu Jun: This child’s father is useless except for being able to eat.

I thoroughly enjoyed the novel. Although it lacked a complex plot, it was far from dull. The backstory was emotionally heavy, particularly the tragic tales of the characters. Our main character, although often portrayed as a villain, showed a softer side by adopting six orphans, including one from his own lineage, and genuinely caring for them. He had a tsundere personality.

The male lead, known for his revered purity, surprisingly displayed a colder demeanor than our anti-hero. The children affectionately refer to him as "mama," even though they acknowledge his strictness compared to their "villain" father.

What I found captivating was the developing relationship between the couple. Their paths were intricately entwined from the start, making them a unique reverse love story. The chapters were open to interpretation.

The children in the story had their own individual backgrounds, which contained significant spoilers, so I'll be brief:

    1. The biological child, once an artifact, had lost his sect brothers.
    2. A teenage orphan boy experienced the massacre of his sect siblings.
    3. A teenage girl was the reincarnation of the MC's first daughter.
    4. A toddler boy transformed from human to artifact and back.
    5. A girl survived her sect's slaughter.
    6. Another toddler boy was a dragon, initially their pet, eventually transforming into a human child, mistaking the ML for a black dragon and believing he fathered him.

Overall, the novel offered a mix of emotions and unexpected twists, particularly in the relationships and dynamics between the characters.

If you're looking for a light and entertaining read filled with accidental family dynamics and whimsical situations, this book fits the bill. It may not stand out as exceptional in terms of its elements, but it serves as a delightful pick-me-up, especially when it playfully embraces the child adoption storyline.

I am utterly puzzled right now as to why this novel has such a low rating. 🙄 As a very discerning reader, I must say it's been a solid 4.5-star experience for me! The prose is excellent, the plot captivating, and the characters endearing. 😍

    Warning: Spoilers ahead!

The central relationship between the main character (MC) and their love interest (ML) revolves around them being a lively, bustling family of five kids and pets. It's a heartwarming, chaotic dynamic that feels genuine! 🏡

Additionally, be prepared for emotional moments, especially when it comes to the adopted children. Their tragic pasts, like the one involving a child being burned by a selfish father, had me in tears and longing to offer comfort. 💔😭

The ratings seem quite low, which puzzles me since this is one of my current favorites. What stands out is the uniqueness of the story and its protagonist. The reviewer accurately described the main character as arrogant and ruthless, and despite knowing that beforehand, I was still taken aback by just how single-minded he could be. I appreciate how his character traits align seamlessly with his actions and dialogue, making him a genuinely refreshing departure from the typical good vs. evil archetypes. The development of his character, particularly as he opens up to his new son, adds warmth to the narrative. The transformation is gradual and realistic, not an instant change from villain to benevolent caregiver. Moreover, the pacing is ideal for me – not too slow, but not rushed either. There's a balance between keeping me engaged without unnecessary details bogging down the plot. I highly recommend giving it a read for yourself to truly experience it! ☆ ~ ('▽^)

In just 32 chapters, I've shed an abundance of tears. Writing this now, I'm still emotional. It's truly heart-wrenching. So for those planning to read this tale, particularly those with a strong empathetic heart, make sure you have tissues on hand 🥺.
